About this guide
How Indian lawyers and law graduates qualify to practise in Canada: the assessment, the subjects you are likely to be assigned, the exams, the 2026 rule changes, and seven practice questions.
The National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) assesses the legal education and experience of people trained outside Canada. It is part of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. The NCA does not license lawyers. It decides what you must do to reach the standard of a Canadian common law graduate.
